SWATCHING
This job entails the placement of carpet, LVT, rubber, vinyl, or rugs on a printed board or binder. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and have a can-do attitude with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of different types of flooring materials is preferred but not required. Training will be provided on the job. Good communication skills and a commitment to delivering a quality product are essential for success in this role.
PACKING / WAREHOUSE
This job includes collating finished jobs into sets, boxing finished products, running the shrink wrapper, and performing a final quality inspection. The person must be able to work quickly and accurately, and be able to lift heavy boxes. They must be able to use tools such as a shrink-wrapper and a box cutter, and be able to follow instructions. The person must be organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
CUTTING
Cutter operators require an attention to detail and accuracy as the age old adage of "measure twice, cut once" is of utmost importance. Cutting jobs require the ability to work with a variety of tools such as saws, die cutters, and roll goods cutters. This job requires a diligent attitude to ensure the job is done correctly the first time. Those with Mechanical and carpentry skills tend to excel.
GENERAL HANDWORK
You will be responsible for organizing and executing various manual tasks in a timely and efficient manner. This includes placing samples on a conveyor belt, stacking samples, labeling samples, and keeping projects organized. You must have an eye for detail and be able to work with precision to ensure accuracy and quality. You should be comfortable with manual labor and be able to work quickly to meet deadlines. In addition, you must be able to multitask and work independently without supervision.
